Le nuvole bianche e soffici che coprono il grigiore del cielo nascondono in realtà un bellissimo segreto. Sono il salotto degli angel che seduti sulle potrone bianche di velluto ridono e si divertono a giocare con la cipria coprendo i loro volti e riccioli dorati con il polvere bianca e profumata. Accidentalmente, ma succede quasi sempre durante il loro gioco, la cipria cade sulla Terra e la copre con un soffice manto di neve.
Teint de Neige è la cipria degli Angeli.
Creato da Lorenzo Villoresi nel 2000 è l'epitome della fragranza talcata, poudrèe, un profumo che ogni amante dei talcati dovrebbe sentire.
Questa morbidezza nuvolosa è stata ottenuta con connubio du eliotropio, muschio bianco, violetta, rosa e fava tonka ... e naturalmente con la maestria del Naso - Lorenzo Villoresi.

Il mio viaggio nel mondo dei profumi di nicchia è iniziato con Teint de Neige e per quello che sento un legame particolare con questa fragranza. Ma ammetto che amo le sfumatture poudrèe quasi sempre indipendentemente della categoria del profumo alle quale appartiene. È una qualità che rende la fragranza più delicata e più "mia" come se aggiungesse il punto sulla "i".

A perfume of Angels sitting on the clouds, laughing, playing, dusting their faces and hair with white perfumed powder that accidently falls down on the Earth and covers the ground with a soft blanket of snow.
Teint de Neige created by Lorenzo Villoresi on 2000 is the epitome of powdery fragrance. The one any powdery-fragrance-lover should test. My niche fragrances' journey started with it and I'm still deaply in love. But I admit, I love a hint of powderyness in all fragrances, it's a quality that makes a perfume appealing for me, adds the point on "i" if I may say so, creates the intimite feeing of sensuality.
This powdery cloudy softness here is mostly achieved with a big amount of heliotrope, musk, violet, rose, tonka bean....and of corse with the mastery of its creator Lorenzo Villoresi.
Teint de Neige is available in all different versions - edt, edp, extrait, deo, body line including body oil.

Féminité du bois SERGE LUTENS

ING: From the Serge Lutens' website:"This scent expresses the masculine side of femininity and vice-versa.

It's all about cedar. Wood accounted for 60% of the composition..."

Spicy woods... not an easy perfume to love and even to understand. May wood be feminine as the name says? I find bark in its substance extremly masculine, but bark is only the top coat. The real heart of wood is in the movement of branches, in the tendency to aschieve altitudes and these characteristics are feminine. And such is Feminitè tu bois - composed on masculine notes, expresses extreme femininity.
There have been a lot of discussions about comparision of Shiseido's and Serge Lutens' Féminité du bois. The first version was composed by Pierre Bourdon and Christopher Sheldrake while Serge Lutens worked for Shiseido in 1992.

Serge Lutens re-launched the Féminitè du bois with his Maison in 2009 and obiously the re-launch and further production have had some modification in formula to comply with new IFRA regulations. The top notes are softer and the base is muskier. A part of perfume lovers doesn't like these changes, but I personally prefer the later version as I like my fragrances more airy, less fruity and even less sweet and softer.

What I detect in Fèminitè du bois is a wood that been firstly soaked in whisky flavored by clove, nutmeg, cardamom and secondly let to dry under the sun, so the smell is dusty and dry, but deep and rich. It's not sweet and that's the facets I like, it's meditative and somehow maternal but aristocratic. If it could be a color it would be bordeaux with violet reflexes. If it would be a fabric it would be silky velvet.

The new format is edp 100ml and the price from webshop is 180.-€, but in different perfumeries there are still available bottles of previous format 50ml/95.-€ and from online stores prices vary a lot starting from 65.-€. You could find also Vapo Tout Noir 2×30ml, but this format is out of production as well.

Legni e le spezie ... non è un profumo facile da amare e persino da capire. Potrebbe il legno essere femminile come dice il nome? Io trovo la corteccia nella sua sostanza estremamente maschile, ma la corteccia è solo la copertura, il superficie. Il vero cuore del legno è nel movimento dei rami, nella tendenza di raggiungere altitudini e queste caratteristiche per me sono femminili. E tale è Feminitè du bois - composto da note maschili, esprime l’estrema femminilità.

Si discute molto nel confronto tra Féminité du bois di Shiseido e quello di Serge Lutens. La prima versione, per ora discontinuata, è stata creata da Pierre Bourdon e Christopher Sheldrake in collaborazione con Serge Lutens mentre lui lavorava per Shiseido nel 1992.
Serge Lutens  ha  rilanciato il Féminitè du bois con la sua Maison nel 2009 e, ovviamente, il rilancio ha avuto qualche modifica nella formula per conformarsi ai nuovi regolamenti di IFRA. Le note di testa sono più morbide e la base è più muschiata. Una parte degli amanti dei profumi non apprezza questi cambiamenti, ma personalmente preferisco la versione nuova in quanto mi piacciono le mie fragranze più ariose, meno fruttate, anche meno dolci e più morbide.

Quello che sento nel Fèminitè du bois è un legno che dapprima è stato imbevuto di whisky aromatizzato da chiodi di garofano, noce moscata e cardamomo e poi lasciato asciugare sotto il sole, quindi l'odore è polveroso e secco, ma profondo e ricco. Non è dolce e questa è la sfaccettatura che mi piace tanto, è meditativo e in qualche modo materno, ma aristocratico. Se fosse un colore sarebbe bordeaux con riflessi violacei. Se fosse un tessuto sarebbe un velluto di seta.

Il nuovo formato è Edp 100 ml /180, - €, ma in diverse profumerie ci sono ancora bottiglie di formato precedente 50ml / 95.- € e dai negozi online i prezzi variano molto a partire da 65.- €. Potreste trovare anche Vapo Tout Noir 2 × 30ml, ma anche questo formato è fuori produzione.

🇬🇧ING:Who says that niche perfumery has arrived to some static dull station and has nothing to surprise any more is absolutely wrong. Tuberose is one of the most playd notes, fascinating as few, but, honestly, what could be new using it as a main player? Could it surprise us?
Yes, Naomi Goodsir, an eclectic Australian stilist, in collaboration with parfumier Isabelle Doyen managed with it.

Nuit de Bakèlite gave me a total knock off. First of all it's so potent. You can detect it even if you don't want to. My decant, gifted me by a dear friend of mine, screamed to be smelled even with a cap. It smells as some oily tincture obtained by squeezing stems, leaves, roots of this enchanting flower but also bark, moss, fallen leaves, moist soil and I wouldn't surprise if some poisonous moushrooms as well. It's medicinal, it's cold, extremly green. It's a breath of life Maleficent would inspire. Nuit de Bakèlite is eclectic as its maitress and it's one of the most fabulous creations of last year.

🇮🇹 IT: Chi dice che la profumeria di nicchia sia arrivata ad un stato statico noioso e non offri più nulla per sorprendersi,  sbaglia. La tuberosa è una delle note più cercate ed usate, affascinante come poche, ma onestamente, cosa potrebbe essere nuovo costruendo un profumo intorno a lei?
Ma Naomi Goodsir, un'eclettica stilista australiana, con la parfumiere Isabelle Doyen ci è riuscita.
Nuit de Bakèlite mi ha lasciato senza fiato, ha una potenza dall'altra galassia . Lo sentivo anche contro la mia volontà. Il mio decant,  regalatomi da una mia cara amica, scridava di essere annusato anche con il tappo ben attaccato. Nuit de Bakèlite ha il profumo di una tintura oleosa ottenuta dalla spremuta di gambi, foglie, radici di questo incantevole fiore ma anche della corteccia, del lichene, delle foglie cadute, della terra umida e non mi sorprenderei se anche di qualche fungo velenoso. È medicinale, è freddo, super verde, è un soffio di vita che Maleficent ispirerebbe. Nuit de Bakèlite è eclettico come la sua maitress ed è una delle creazioni più favolose dell'anno scorso.

Laboratorio Olfattivo - one of my most loved brands

ING:  The choice of perfumes on the market is so wide that we have to choose not only what to wear, but even what to test and what, instead, to left to wait. And my first choice is always based on the instinct, on the first input the presentation of the brand gives me. The simplicity and minimalism of Laboratorio Olfattivo packages intrigued me and I had to find the possibility to smell the inside of these linear bottles. 10 minutes with the first fragrance nebulizzed to the mouillette were enough -  I knew - I had found a treasure. This first fragrance was Kashnoir.

Laboratorio Olfattivo is created by Roberto Drago and Daniela Caon in 2009. At the moment it consists of 16 fragrances born in collaboration with famous Noses left free in their process of creation. And that's the fact that makes this brand versatile, there is something for every taste, for every mood and for every occasion. Laboratorio Olfattivo is one of my favorite brands ever. As already said, my first love was Kashnoir, created by Cecile Zarokian in 2013 carring her unmistakable, intense, resinous signature. Kashnoir is oriental and enigmatic fragrance, built around  benzoin, vanilla and heliotrope with freshness of neroli and lavender. I still remember when I tried it in one little perfumery in San Marino. I sprayed it on my hair and left. The wonderful sensation of walking inside of perfume cloud fallowed me all day long. I detected the fragrance  with every breath of wind.
And then I got hooked by Alambar (creation of Enrico Buccella) - a soft blanket to warm us up in cold winter days with amber, cocoa, cinnamon and tonka bean.
I was sure to like Noblige, since I love
lavender,  but I was wrong! I don't like it, I adore it!  The Nose is Marie Duchene who came out with anusual combination - lemon, iris and lavender. The fragrance opens with freshness of lemon and morphs in powdery soapy base of iris root and lavender; modern, chic and totaly unisex.

Cozumel -  created by Marie Duchene - a nice fresh aromatic sandalwood combined with cannabis and sage.
Daimiris - created by Pierre Guillaume. A gourmand as only Pierre is able to create -  rum, iris, saffron; boozy and enchanting.
And Decou-Vert - the freshness of the spring, green and flowery  - lily of the valley, lilac and freshly cut grass.
Patchouliful for patchouli lovers, the Nose is again Cecile.
Rosamunda - for me it's a bit retrò rose with lots of patchouli, saffron and woody earthy notes.
Salina - the Nose David Maruitte; unmistakable smell of the sea, the summer and the holidays; ozonated but also aromatic floral with myrtle and pine.
MyLo and Nun - two floral creations by Luca Maffei. MyLO - a sunny perfume of good mood with lily; Nun - fresh delicate magnolia and aquatic flowers.
Nerotic - one of the most beautiful gems of this collection, sensual and intimate, transgressive and mysterious. Not sweet, moist, smoky, ambery woods. Born from the talent of Cecile Zarokian.
And that's not all. There is also the body line  composed by shower gels, body lotions, handwashes and the line of room fragrances.

IT : La scelta dei profumi sul mercato è talmente ampia che ci tocca di scegliere non solamente cosa portare, ma persino cosa testare, cosa sentire e cosa lasciare lì ad aspettare. E la prima scelta lo faccio istintivamente basando sul imput che mi da la presentazione del marchio.
Mi hanno incuriositi la semplicità e il minimalismo delle confezioni di  Laboratorio Olfattivo e dopo il primo profumo testato ero convinta - avevo trovato un tesoro. Questo primo profumo fu Kashnoir.
Laboratorio Olfattivo è il marchio creato da Roberto Drago e Daniela Caon nel 2009. Al momento composto da 16 fragranze nate in collaborazione con i Nasi/profumieri con fama mondiale lasciati liberi nel loro processo di creazione. È proprio questo il fatto che rende il marchio versatilissimo, c'è qualcosa per ogni gusto, per ogni umore e per ogni occasione. Laboratorio Olfattivo è uno dei miei marchi preferiti in assoluto.
Come detto già, il mio primo amore fu Kashnoir. Il profumo creato da Cecile Zarokian nel 2013 con la sua inconfondibile firma intensa, resinosa. È una fragranza orientale e enigmatica. Costruita intorno al benzoino, alla vaniglia, all'eliotropo con la freschezza del neroli e della lavanda. Mi ricordo ancora quando lo provai in una profumeria a San Marino. Lo spruzzai sui capelli e lo sentii con ogni soffio di vento... una  sensazione meravigliosa.
- E poi e' arrivato Alambar (creazione di Enrico Buccella) - una coperta soffice per riscaldarsi d'inverno  con l'ambra, il cacao, la cannella e la fava tonka.
- Visto che io adori la lavanda, dalla lista eei preferiti non poteva mancare Noblige
(il profumiere Marie Duchene) - una combinazione insolita di limone, d'iris e della lavanda. Agrumato rinfrescante all'apertura, talcato saponoso alla base, molto chic e assolutamente unisex.
- Mi piace tanto anche Cozumel, anche lui creato da Marie Duchene - un bel sandalo fresco aromatico combinato con cannabis e salvia.

- Daimiris - creato da Pierre Guillaume. Un profumo gourmand con le note del rum, iris, zafferano. Un profumo inebriante e boozy al punto giusto.
- Decou-Vert - verde e fiorito - molto primaverile, il mughetto, la lillà e l'erba freschissima.
- Patchouliful per gli amanti del patchouli (il Naso e' di nuovo Cecile).
- Rosamunda - per me una rosa un po' retro' con tanto patchouli, dello zafferano e con le note terrose legnose.
- Salina - il Naso David Maruitte; inconfondibile odore del mare, dell'estate e delle vacanze. Ozonato ma anche fiorito aromatico con il mirto, il pino.
- MyLo e Nun - due creazioni fiorite di Luca Maffei. MyLO, un giglio molto solare, un profumo di buon umore; Nun  - la delicatezza della magnolia e dei fiori acquatici.
- Nerotic - uno dei gioielli della collezione, sensuale e intimo, trasgressivo e misterioso. Un legnoso cremoso, non dolce, ma umido, fumoso, ambrato. Anche lui nato dal talento di Cecile Zarokian.
E non è tutto...
Oltre alle fragranze c'è la linea corpo e la linea ambiente.
