IT: "Rien" , significa "niente", ma forse  invece è proprio tutto. L'Air de Rien non è un profumo, è una sensazione - ti sembra di essere capito, approvato, amato. È un odore di ieri, non di oggi nè di domani. Air de Rien ha l'aura nostalgica, ma protettiva, ha l'odore del calore umano, dell'odore della pelle dei tuoi bimbi, dei giocattoli e dei libri preferiti, del vissuto, della vicinanza e dell'intimità. È un capolavoro creato nel 2006 da Lyn Harris per Jane Birkin. Per la giovane cantante, attrice e sopratutto una trasgressiva e affascinante  musa per tanti, che però non amava i profumi ma desiderava di avere una fragranza che le ricordasse tutto a lei caro. L'Air de Rien è una composizione inusuale, capovolta. Non ci sono le note dell'apertura fresche, si parte con l'arrivo, si inizia dalla fine, c'è un sottile strato di polvere su tutto, è enigmatico e sensuale, costruito intorno del calore dell'ambra e del muschio addolcito dalla vaniglia e del neroli sulla terrosità, legnosità del patchouli e del muschio di quercia. È un velo invisibile come una seconda pelle, diverso da persona a persona chi lo porta. Non è un profumo applicato sulla pelle, ma è un odore che emani dalla pelle.

She did not like perfumes but was curious to find a fragrance reminding her of everything she loved. L'Air de Rien has an unusual composition, it's built upside down. The fresh top notes are missing, it starts from the end and seem to be enveloped into soft mistery dust. It's enigmatic and sensual embraced by the warmth of amber and musk, sweetened by vanilla and neroli on the base of earthy, woody patchouli and oakmoss. It is like an invisible veil of second skin, different from person to person who wears it.
